Connect ChatGPT

Point the client at https://mcp.biblemcpserver.com/mcp. Use a bmcp_test_ key or complete OAuth 2.1 with PKCE.

ChatGPT Developer mode connectors and ChatGPT Apps talk to the hosted Streamable HTTP endpoint at https://mcp.biblemcpserver.com/mcp. They discover OAuth from well-known metadata, register a public client, and send you to this site to sign in.

  1. Enable Developer mode, then add a custom connector or App pointing at https://mcp.biblemcpserver.com/mcp.
  2. ChatGPT reads https://mcp.biblemcpserver.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and https://mcp.biblemcpserver.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, then opens https://biblemcpserver.com/oauth/authorize.
  3. Sign in on this site and allow access. PKCE S256 is required.
  4. Custom GPT Actions can instead import https://mcp.biblemcpserver.com/openapi.json and send a bmcp_test_ Bearer key.
